Pride Month celebrations taking place across Northeast Ohio

Some of the Pride Month events taking place across Northeast Ohio include a Cleveland Guardians game, bar crawl, pride march and festival.

CLEVELAND — With Pride Month officially underway, 3News has created a list of events and celebrations taking place across Northeast Ohio.

As 3News learns of more events, we will update the list below...

Pride Rocks 

  • Thursday, June 1 
  • 5-9 p.m. 
  • Union Home Mortgage Plaza at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame kicked off Pride in the CLE weekend with an event that featured live music, local artists, vendors and more. More information can be found HERE.

Flat Out Pride 

  • Kick off party 
    • Friday, June 2 
    • 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. 
    • Flats East Bank 
  • After party 
    • Saturday, June 3 
    • 6-10 p.m. 
    • Flats East Bank

The events featured a weekend of music, drinks, live entertainment and local celebrities who lined up to celebrate Cleveland's LGBTQIA+ community.

Pride in the CLE 

  • Saturday, June 3 
  • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Staging for the march will began at 10 a.m. in Public Square, followed by the march stepping off at 11 a.m. The march went through the streets towards the malls, where the festival took place.

Family Day: Pride

  • Sunday, June 4 
  • 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Akron Art Museum 

In honor of Pride Month, the Akron Art Museum is offering "experiences that foster joy and empowerment." Families are invited to come and create art, play, enjoy performances and collaborate on an AAM Pride March banner. Admission is free, but registration is suggested. Register HERE.

Pride Night at Progressive Field 

  • Friday, June 9
  • 7:10 p.m. 

As the Cleveland Guardians take on the Houston Astros, the team will host a Pride Night at Progressive Field. The event will be an educational and inclusive experience that celebrates all fans. Fans attending the game can enjoy the following: 

  • Special giveaways from the Cleveland Strikers featuring the Pride “C” logo
  • “CLE Pride” photo opportunity next to The Corner bar
  • LGBTQ+ resource fair featuring local non-profit organizations, located in front of the Home Plate Club and Fan Services center between sections 151 and 155 (5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.)
  • In-game content highlighting Pride resources on the scoreboard
  • Post-game Phantom Fireworks presented by Legacy Roofing; the “Pride in the CLE” fireworks soundtrack was curated in partnership with the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland

StarkPRIDE Festival 

  • Saturday, June 10 
  • 2-10 p.m.

The second annual Stark Pride Festival will take place at Centennial Plaza in downtown Canton. The inaugural pride walk will begin at 1 p.m. prior to the festival. All of the events will celebrate the communities' culture, promote visibility, provide education and will welcome everyone. The festival will include music, speakers, activities for children, community organization booths, artists and food/drink. 

Cleveland Pride Bar Crawl 

  • Saturday, June 17
  • 3-10 p.m. 

The Cleveland Pride Bar Crawl will take over some of Cleveland's top nightlife areas. Many of the venues will serve special festive drinks and have exclusive drink specials. Stops during the bar crawl include Dive Bar, IVY Nightclub, Barley House, Velvet Dog Rooftop and Rumor Nightclub.
