7th annual Race the River brings beautiful views, awareness to epilepsy

More than 400 runners gathered at Merwin's Wharf for a scenic run through Cleveland's Flats neighborhood.

CLEVELAND — For the seventh year, Race the River brought hundreds of people to Merwin's Wharf to run for a worthy cause.

Proceeds for the 1.5 mile walk, 5K and 10K, went directly to local programs and services for the Epilepsy Association.

The course took runners along the Cuyahoga River and through Cleveland's Irishtown Bend neighborhood, capturing stunning skyline views along the way.
