Cleveland Asian Festival wraps after another successful year

It was a big weekend for Cleveland's AsiaTown neighborhood.

The 2023 Cleveland Asian Festival took take place this weekend featuring a wide variety of events, performances and food for the thousands in attendance.

This year, 3News' Lynna Lai and Isabel Lawrence served as emcees at the event that spotlights diversity and Asian culture in Northeast Ohio during Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

The annual festival offers free admission, free parking with free shuttle bus rides to and from the festival. You'll also experience live entertainment at the Cleveland Asian Festival, including cultural performances and demonstrations on two outdoor stages, a world marketplace of 100+ vendors and exhibitors, 25+ local restaurants and caterers offering authentic Asian cuisines. 

There will also be free health screenings at the health pavilion inside Asia Plaza, plus free activities, free games, the Colors of Asia Fashion show and an Asian Pop Dance Competition 

3News' Jim Donovan and Lai were joined by Karis Tzeng of Midtown Cleveland for a preview of the festival: 

The Kwan Family Lion Dance Team, who will perform at the festival, visited 3News to give viewers an exclusive performance during Front Row on Thursday.
