Josh Gad honored his late friend and "Marshall" costar, Chadwick Boseman, over the weekend.
On Friday night, Boseman's estate released the sad news of the actor's passing, and it didn't take long for his famous friends to remember him on social media.
Gad started by sharing a video of he and Boseman dancing and singing, along with Sterling K. Brown, while filming "Marshall " together, but later shared one of the last text messages the actor sent to him.
In the text, Boseman urged Gad to enjoy the little moments in life, "we should take advantage of every moment we can to enjoy the simplicity of God's creation, whether it be clear skies with sun, or clouded with gloom."
Gad said on Twitter that the "Black Panther" actor "knew how precious every moment was," and that heaven "received one of it's most powerful angels."
The Video Music Awards also honored Boseman during last night's ceremony and rewarded artists for a year of great music.
It would surprise no one that Lady Gaga dominated the night.
The singer killed it in both the style department and the awards department, changing several times throughout the night - with coordinating masks of course- and taking home five "Moon Men" awards.
The night's other big winners were unsurprisingly, international superstars, BTS.
The K-Pop group won six trophies and delivered their first-ever live performance of their new single, "Dynamite."

According to multiple reports, Brad Pitt is dating a married-woman... who is in an open relationship.
The 56-year-old actor has been spotted getting cozy with 27-year-old model, Nicole Poturalski, despite her marriage to a 68-year-old German restaurant owner.
Poturalski also has a seven-year-old son with her husband, so the situation could get pretty complicated.
The actor and the model have yet to publicly comment on the rumors, but they were seen getting comfortable on Pitt's jet, so that seems pretty official.
