As the Cleveland Orchestra continues to prepare for its 100th season, one of Hollywood's finest film composers will be handling the baton for a one-night-only performance next year.
Earlier this week, the Orchestra announced that Academy Award winner John Williams will be the guest conductor on Sunday, April 8, at Severance Hall.
The concert will feature the music from many of Williams' legendary film scores, conducting music from Star Wars, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Indiana Jones, Schindler’s List, and more.
If you are an Orchestra donor or subscriber, tickets are on sale now and prices range from $75-$175. The rest of the public will have an opportunity to purchase tickets later this summer.
The 85-year-old Williams is staying busy in the meantime, working on the score for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which is due in theaters in December.
