If you missed your chance to see one of the three sold-out Michael Stanley celebration concerts at MGM Northfield Park in December, you have another chance to pay tribute to the legendary Cleveland rocker.

Live Nation has announced that two encore concert celebrations will be held at The Goodyear Theater in Akron on Saturday, May 28 and at The Robins Theatre in Warren on Sunday, May 29. Both concerts will start at 7:30 and will feature a special performance by The Vindys.

Stanley passed away last March at the age of 72.

In December of 2021, the Michael Stanley celebration concerts at MGM Northfield Park sold out faster than any concert in the history of the venue. One musician who was unable to take part in the tribute to Stanley was his longtime drummer and bandmate Tommy Dobeck, who was rushed to the hospital just days prior to the concerts. Dobeck will be a part of the two shows in May.

“I was simply devastated and heartbroken when the doctors told me I couldn’t play the concerts honoring Michael”, said Dobeck in a statement. “The shows in Akron & Warren will provide me the opportunity to celebrate my friendship and love for Michael, along with his fans and fellow Resonators as we perform five decades of memorable music from Michael’s early beginnings, to MSB, to The Resonators.”

Joining members of The Resonators will be long-time collaborator and bandmate Jonah Koslen, and NEO-based guitarist, record producer and winner of MTV’s “Amazingness” television show, Michael Weber.

Tickets to both performances will go on sale Friday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. Click here to purchase tickets.

A portion of every ticket sold for these two concerts will be donated to the newly formed 10,000 Watts of Holy Light Fund of The Cleveland Foundation, in partnership with Stanley's family. The fund will identify Cleveland-centric organizations and dedicate annual donations as part of their mission.
