Yellowcard comes to Blossom Music Center as part of first tour in over 6 years

The band will perform on July 12 at Blossom Music Center. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Feb. 17.

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — It's time to dust off your Walkman, dig for the Case Logic CD holder under your driver's side seat and practice your air-violin skills! Yellowcard has announced their return to touring and will make a stop at Blossom Music Center this summer.

The band will make their return to the Northeast Ohio on July 12 at Blossom Music Center where they will headline the show with special guests Mayday Parade and Story of the Year.

VIP packages will be available during a presale period starting on Wednesday, February 15 at 10 a.m. General ticket sales will be made available to the public on Friday, February 17 at 10 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.com/yellowcard-tickets/artist/831041.

The band will be celebrating 20 years of their iconic album "Ocean Avenue" that skyrocketed them to fame in the early 2000s. Band Members Ryan Key (vocals, guitar), Sean Mackin (violin), Tyan Mendez (guitar) and Josh Portman will hit the road starting on July 5th in Baltimore, Maryland, travelling throughout the United States until their final show on August 8 in Denver, Colorado.

“Announcing a Yellowcard tour is something I never thought we would get to do again,” says singer Ryan Key. “Much less, a tour with bands of this caliber made up of such amazing people and good friends. Being given the opportunity to play music together again is truly a gift that we are not taking for granted. We are going to make these shows extremely special for all of the fans who we have missed so much these last six years.”

"Certified double platinum in the US by the RIAA, gold in Canada, and silver in the UK, Ocean Avenue solidified Yellowcard’s indelible mark on the music world. The undying esteem that the album owns has not diminished in the twenty years since its release. With signature singles “Way Away”, “Only One” and the title track “Ocean Avenue” among the 13 tracks, it not only marks their entrance into the mainstream but also the stratospheric success of the band whose subsequent albums cemented the band’s legacy in the history of alternative music." - Reybee, Inc.
