March is Women’s History Month and today Cuyahoga Arts & Culture shared an organization with us that celebrates women’s achievements in air and space travel! Cuyahoga Arts & Culture’s Program Manager, Luis Gomez & Heather Alexander from the International Women’s Air and Space Museum, joined Hollie & Alexa with a preview!
Here are the questions Luis & Heather were asked:
Luis, talk about your partnership with the International Women’s Air & Space Museum!
Heather: I think many people would be surprised to know that we have an International Women’s Air & Space Museum? Tell us about it.
Heather: You brought some items with you today to give viewers at home an idea of what they can see at your museum. The first item is a special piece from Amelia Earhart.
Heather: A current exhibit at the museum focuses on the Mercury 13. It’s a fascinating story. Who were the Mercury 13?
Luis: How can people find out more information about this and other events celebrating women’s history?
Will you be visiting the International Women’s Air & Space Museum this month to celebrate Women’s History Month? Find us on social media at ‘Live on Lakeside’ and let us know!
