Can the Cleveland Cavaliers climb Mount Everest and beat Golden State? Donovan Live Postgame Show

Jim Donovan and Dave "Dino" DeNatale discuss the monumental task the Cavaliers have in front of them as they try to dethrone the Warriors.

Well here we go again, everyone! The Cleveland Cavaliers are back in the NBA Finals for the 4th straight year after rallying to beat the Boston Celtics in an epic, seven-game series.

And for the 4th straight year, they will have to beat the Golden State Warriors to become world champions.

The odds are certainly not in the favor of the Wine and Gold, as my colleague Ben Axelrod wrote earlier today after checking out the Vegas betting line. In fact, there may not be a bigger underdog in modern NBA Finals history than the Cavs are this year.

Jim Donovan laid out what awaits LeBron James and company in this piece below:

My favorite part? Beating Golden State's four superstars is "like trying to climb Mount Everest without sherpas or ropes. In fact, Everest might be more doable."

What the heck is a sherpa, you ask? A member of a Himalayan people living on the borders of Nepal and Tibet, renowned for their skill in mountaineering, per Google dictionary.

How does Jimmy know that? He is a fountain of knowledge, my friends.

The two of us take an early look at the NBA Finals, plus thoughts on Kevin Love's appearance in Boston while in concussion protocol, Kyrie Irving's disappearance for Game 7, and much more.
