Caroline J. Peak & Jessica Pinsky – Collinwood Reads

Collinwood Reads helps improve literacy skills in the community.

The 50th anniversary of the Cuyahoga River catching on fire is coming up in June. And, there is a community art project that will teach Collinwood students about local history using art. Caroline J. Peak, Collinwood Branch Manager at Cleveland Public Library and Jessica Pinsky, Executive Director of Praxis Fiber Workshop were on the show today and shared more.

Below are the questions Tiffany asked Caroline J. Peak & Jessica Pinsky:
What’s the origin of this project?
What's the connection to Collinwood?
Why is this project important for the environment?
Describe the end result of this project?
What is the library's role in this project?
How does including art help students with reading improvement?
