Cheryl C. Perez & Cecil Lipscomb - The Soul Of Philanthropy

The Soul Of Philanthropy is an exhibit you don’t want to miss it.

His work throughout Northeast Ohio has left a lasting impression on our community...

And these words speak to just one of his many accomplishments. Steve Minter - the founder of The African-American Philanthropy Committee of The Cleveland Foundation - was recently honored during The Soul Of Philanthropy Grand Opening Celebration.

He passed away recently. On the show today - to tell us about the legacy he left behind were Cecil Lipscomb and Cheryl C. Perez.

Below are the questions Tiffany asked:

Tell us about Steve Minter's legacy?

Tell us a little bit about the history of the United Black Fund and the mission of the organization.

How did you all come to be involved with the Soul of Philanthropy?

How do you think the Soul of Philanthropy exhibit is impacting nonprofit and their work in the community?

What is the end goal for United Black Fund? You have this amazing exhibit – what does the future look like for African American philanthropy in our city? How do you reach other communities outside of the African American community?

Let's discuss the needs that you all see. From UBF's perspective why do we all need to see ourselves as philanthropists? Can systemic issues truly be solved?

There are several programs that accompany TSOPCLE exhibit. What's coming up this month and what can guests expect?
