CLEVELAND — Celebrities are mourning the loss of this year’s Met Gala by sharing their favorite looks from over the years.

The iconic event, which typically takes place on the first Monday in May, was unfortunately cancelled due to fear of spreading COVID-19. Blake Lively shared her previous looks, and managed to open everyones eyes up to the fact that she has matched the carpet each year. What a queen.

Speaking of royalty, Priyanka Chopra Jonas let her niece put her in a crown and glam her up, writing "This year's theme, pretty pretty princess."

Other stars like Julia Roberts and Amanda Seyfried dressed to the nines at home, but the real winner was Mindy Kaling, who gave the world her own spin on Jared Leto’s intriguing outfit from last year’s ball. Thank you Mindy.

Gabrielle Union got in on the action too, sharing her own Met Ball photos, but that isn’t the only thing that she shared: Union has a new children's book coming out!

Union’s new book is all about the different pathways that people can take to have a child, create a family, or nontraditional family building, “No matter how you family, we welcome you and we love you. Sweet Baby, welcome to the party.”

Union and husband, basketball legend Dwyane Wade, welcomed their first child together last year after infertility struggles.

The book, ‘Welcome to the Party’ is now available.

Speaking of books, Dakota Fanning, David Beckham, Eddie Redmayne and more have signed on to a very exciting project that takes fans back to Hogwarts.

Celebs are coming together to read ‘Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone,’ and Harry Potter himself is kicking it off with chapter one. Daniel Radcliffe, who played Potter in the film series, is kicking of the reading of the first installment in the book series, which is now live here.

Harry Potter himself...reading Harry Potter. It’s understandable if you need to leave now and get right to it.

The rest of the chapters will be uploaded in the coming weeks.
