Whether you're flying or driving, even if you're staying home, spring break is a time when kids need entertained. We get advice from a lifestyle expert.

CLEVELAND — Spring break season is here -- and in many ways, it's anything but a break for parents.

Whether you're doing a staycation or traveling, there are a lot of plans you can make to keep the kids entertained.

In today's Mom Squad, 3News' Maureen Kyle talks with lifestyle expert Amanda Mushro about how she keeps her kids busy while traveling.

“My advice is to hit up the dollar section of Target or head to the dollar store and you can find little gems to keep the kids so entertained,” says Mushro.

“So, I love the little gel clings that you can usually put on your windows," Mushro explains. "They are perfect if you're flying. They can put them on the airplane window, they can use them on all over the seats. They don't leave a sticky residue; you can toss them when you're done. You can use them in the car.”

In this episode, Amanda also had some suggestions for the Easter bunny. She shows off some items that would go great in the baskets that aren't candy.

And wondering what to wear on spring break? We also get advice from fashion consultant Hallie Abrams on what to pack for your destination and how to pack efficiently.
