INGREDIENTS

Cooking spray

1 bag tater tots (will need to let them soften if frozen)

1 c. cooked bacon, chopped

1 c. shredded cheese (use your favorite)

Sour cream, for topping

Sliced green onions, for garnish

The Cleveland Twist: We added a bite of pierogi on top!

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400º and grease a 12-cup muffin pan with cooking spray.
  2. Fill each muffin tin with 4 or 5 (softened/unfrozen) tater tots and press them together with the bottom of a spoon creating a well.
  3. Bake until crispy, about 25 minutes. Remove from oven.
  4. While tots are still warm, add your cheese and bacon and broil until cheese is melted. (about one minute)
  5. Let cool completely, then use a spoon to remove your tator cups from the muffin tin.
