'Tis the season for screams.

Halloween festivities are at their peak this weekend, meaning there's plenty to do.

If you're looking for a chance to wear your creative and creepy costume, or if you're looking for some scares, there's an activity for you.

Bright Lights at the Enchanted Forest

What: Get enchanted at the Beech Creek Botanical Garden, where the forest will become a magical wonderland. There will be music, special guests and special effects to enjoy for a dreamy fall evening. Get tickets here.

Fleetwood Mac

What: Go your own way, but make sure that includes a stop at The Q this Friday for an evening with Fleetwood Mac. Sure, the band is now without Lindsey Buckingham, but you'll still have a chance to hear all your favorite hits. Get tickets here.

Good Charlotte

What: Live the lifestyle of the rich and famous with 2000s pop punk rockers Good Charlotte. Hear throwback hits hits like "The Anthem" and "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" as you embrace your inner teenager. Get tickets here.

The Great Pumpkin Party in the Square

What: Head downtown for Public Square's family-friendly pumpkin party. The free event will offer trick-or-treating with stations from B.A. Sweetie's, face painting, a pumpkin roll and more. Don't forget your costume! Learn more here.

Haunted houses

Hocus Pocus Trivia

What: Test your knowledge of everyone's favorite Halloween flick. Hosted by Mad Mac's, Lakewood's only mac and cheese bar, you and your team can compete for a Mad Mac's gift card. After trivia, the bar will also be screening the movie for an extra dose of nostalgia. Learn more here.

Olmsted Fall-O-Ween

Owls and Howls

What: Head to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History for a real hoot. Learn all about the animals living in the museum's Perkins Wildlife Center, including coyotes, otters and more. The event is included in admission, so spend the day learning about nature, wildlife and history. Learn more here.

Spooky Fest

What: Head to Mapleside Farm's Pumpkin Village this weekend for a spooky setting that's still kid-friendly. Kids can wear their costumes and meet a variety of ghouls and goblins roaming the village. Learn more here.

Trick or Treat Bar Crawl
