Chudowsky sisters demonstrate how to have a safe, fun Halloween amid the pandemic

To assist everyone, Dave Chudowsky once again turned to the experts for some help - his daughters.

CLEVELAND — They helped you get through the stay-at-home order and quarantine, now the "Chud sisters" are back to help you celebrate Halloween in a safe and fun way.

To assist everyone, Dave Chudowsky once again turned to the experts for some help - his daughters. Brooklyn and London were more than excited to share their tips on how to celebrate Halloween during a pandemic.  Even if you don’t plan to take your kids trick-or-treating there is still so much you can do.

“Just because Halloween is going to be different this year, it’s still going to be fun!  It’s one of our favorite times of the year,” says 10-year-old Brooklyn.

The Chudowsky family stepped up their pumpkin game this year, they currently have fourteen at their house. When it comes to carving, their advice is to use a carving kit and not kitchen knives. London says it’s easiest to draw your own face on the pumpkin but if you want to get creative, you can find stencils on-line as well as in a carving kit.

As far as the girls favorite Halloween snack that isn’t candy…it’s a Halloweenie!  Take dry spaghetti noodles and stick them all throughout a hot dog.  Have Mom or Dad boil it, and it comes out looking kind of like a spider and “It tastes so good!” says London.

Dad’s favorite part is the pumpkin seeds.  After getting them all out of the pumpkins and cleaning the seeds, air them out over-night. The next day, mix them in a bowl with salt and melted butter, then bake them for 45 minutes at 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
