CLEVELAND — Mentalist and mind power expert Brent Webb says he realized early on his ability to “sense” which hand contained a coin, in a game played with him by his father.
As the years progressed, so did his skill level, and Webb began a career as a mentalist, which has taken him from his own show in Las Vegas to around the world as a headliner at casinos and resorts. He's even performed twice at The White House, and three times at The Cleveland Browns training camp, where he is referred to as their “favorite mentalist."
Webb splits his time between Cleveland and California and is a regular at Hilarities 4th Street Theater on East 4th street, where he's set to perform this Sunday, Nov, 1 at 7 p.m.
On Friday, Webb stopped by "What's New" with 3News anchors Betsy Kling and Jay Crawford to give his skills a go and even explain how mind power can deal with the stress of 2020.
Webb started by asking Betsy to think of the first person to come to her mind, and Jay the first place he could think of. Betsy chose her mom, Sue, and Jay chose his favorite place, Barcelona.
The mentalist then shocked the anchors by pulling a small envelope off of the chain around his neck- which was in camera view the entire time- and unveiling a piece of paper with the words "Sue" and "Barcelona" on it.
