Valentine vows: Couples wed at Cleveland's Tower City, Akron Civic Theatre

Love is in the air!

AKRON, Ohio — It's the most romantic day of the year, and what better way to celebrate than by saying "I do"?

Several couples tied the knot Friday at Tower City in downtown Cleveland, and more will say "I do" inside Akron's Civic Theatre. 3News streamed ceremonies from both sites. Watch again below:

Judges Lauren C. Moore, Emanuella Groves, Jazmin Torres-Lugo, Suzan Sweeney, Ann Clare Oakar and Shiela Turner McCall officiated the Tower City weddings, while Akron Municipal Court Judge Annalisa Williams officiated the Civic Theatre nuptials.

Akron Municipal Court will also perform Leap Day and St. Patrick's Day weddings at the Civic Theatre this year. Interested couples must have a marriage license through Summit County Probate Court and should schedule their time slot ahead of time. Those who reside within the court's jurisdiction must pay a $25 fee, while those living outside it must pay $40.
