Regional grocery chain Meijer is set to make its Northeast Ohio debut Tuesday.
The Michigan-based retailer will open three stores across the area, in Avon, Mentor and Stow, totaling its number of Ohio stores at 42. All three stores open Tuesday.
The stores will be open 24 hours per day and seven days per week, offering features like a full-service deli and meat department, as well as fresh produce and a full-service pharmacy. The Avon location will also have a gas station.
Each store is estimated to create about 300 jobs, according to Meijer's communications representatives.
