CLEVELAND — It's a summertime ritual to gaze at the boats on Lake Erie during a lazy, warm day.
You see power boats, sail boats, kayaks and more, and many of us find ourselves wishing we had a boat to enjoy the lake on a different level.
Now, you too can set sail along the Erie shore.
GetMyBoat calls itself the world's largest boat rental and charter marketplace. It allows users to rent a boat, complete with a captain to keep you afloat.
The app hasn't completely taken off in the Northeast Ohio area, but there are a few boats available for rent in Sandusky, Fairport Harbor and Cleveland. Some charge per person, others charge by the hour depending if they're chartered.
Renters can take the boat fishing, spend an afternoon floating around, or can simply cruise from Point A to Point B.
