Americans are expected to spend an estimated $23.1 billion for Mother’s Day this year, according to the National Retail Federation.
The top purchase for consumers? Greeting cards. NRF estimates that $813 million will be spent on cards alone this Mother’s Day.
American Greetings in Westlake knows a thing or two about creating greeting cards. The company has been writing and creating cards in the Cleveland area for more than 100 years. Their mission from day one that continues today is to make the world a more thoughtful place.
Director of Communication’s Patrice Molnar says there’s nothing like receiving a handwritten card.
"There’s something about taking the time to pick out a card for someone that’s important to you. Putting it in the mail or just handing it to them and knowing there’s a piece of you with it.”
The American Greetings Creative Headquarters is in Westlake, Ohio. It has been located there since 2016.
