Cleveland FBI looking for information regarding CVS pharmacy theft during May 30 Downtown protests

The suspects were caught on camera ripping a safe off the wall inside the drugstore

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking for help in identifying several suspects wanted in connection to theft within a CVS pharmacy in the Downtown area. 

The theft took place during the May 30 protests against racial injustice in the United States. 

The FBI says that they are working with the Cleveland Police as well as the Drug Enforcement Agency to find the suspects, who were caught on camera ripping a safe off of the wall and exiting the pharmacy.

The safe contained controlled substances and narcotics, making the theft a violation of federal law. 

Police say that the suspects were seen carrying the safe out of the CVS and into a nearby parking garage where they believe the safe was broken into and drugs were stolen.
