Cleveland fire investigators searching for suspects wanted for aggravated arson of house on city's east side

Investigators initially believed the incident was accidental in nature, but were shown the video from a neighbor's home security camera.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Fire is asking for the public's help in identifying suspects wanted for aggravated arson at an east side home last month.

According to a release, the incident happened on March 24 at a house in the 900 block of Nathaniel Road at around 5:15 p.m. Two males, who investigators believe could be juveniles, were seen on video igniting a corner of the house with an open flame. There may have been flammable liquids involved as well. The two then fled the area. A female was also seen on the video running away from the house.

No one was injured.

Cleveland fire investigators initially believed the incident was accidental in nature, but were shown the video from a neighbor's home security camera. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cleveland Division of Fire Investigation Unit at 216-664-6380. You can also make an anonymous tip to Crimestoppers at 216-25-CRIME.
