Fugitive escaped from prison in 1987, could be in Cleveland

On Aug. 28, 1987 Gordon Lambert escaped, by unknown means from the Orient Correctional Institution in Pickaway, Ohio

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Gordon Lambert.

Lambert is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Adult Parole Authority for escape. Lambert has connections to the Cleveland area and should be considered armed and dangerous.

The U.S. Marshals say that in April 1984 Lambert began serving a 6 to 25 year sentence for aggravated robbery and felonious assault, where he shot at police officers attempting to arrest him.

On Aug. 28, 1987, Lambert escaped by unknown means from the Orient Correctional Institution in Pickaway, Ohio.

Lambert, 62, stands about 5’09” tall, weighs 160 pounds, with brown and grey hair and blue eyes.
