Richland County Coroner's Office Chief Investigator Bob Ball says the victim was taken directly from the scene for an autopsy. He has since been identified as Nayshawn Lovett.

Shortly after the incident, authorities issued an aggravated murder arrest warrant for 31-year-old Montels Holland, of Ontario. Detectives searched Holland's apartment just after 9 p.m., but he remains at large, at this time.

"Mr. Holland is encouraged to voluntarily surrender himself to authorities to assure a peaceful ending," Mansfield police said in a statement.
