Ohio Department of Health offering pop-up COVID-19 testing at 3 Northeast Ohio locations this week

The testing will take place Wednesday, August 19 through Friday, August 21.

AVON LAKE, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) will be offering a free COVID-19 pop-up testing at three Northeast Ohio locations this week. 

The testing is available for anyone that would like to be tested for the virus. A health care provider's referral is not needed to be tested. 

The pop-up testing will be done at the following locations: 

  • Ellen Trivanovich Aquatic Center, 32850 Electric Blvd. Avon Lake, OH 44012, and will run from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. on Thursday. 
  • Youngstown Metro Assembly of God, 2530 South Ave. Youngstown, OH 44502, testing will be available Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Trumbull Plaza, 2485 Parkman Rd. NW Warren, OH 44485, testing will be available Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The ODH says that no appointments are necessary and the testing is available at no-cost, but quantities are limited.
