Do it for Danielle: How to purchase pink ribbons during October

“Do it for Danielle” is the name of the public awareness campaign that WKYC Studios launched last spring after 3News' anchor and reporter Danielle Wiggins returned to work after breast cancer surgery.

Our focus was to encourage viewers not to delay getting their mammograms, to highlight the life-saving value of breast self-exams and to share vital information about breast cancer, the most common cancer affecting U.S. women besides skin cancer.

3News believe that Danielle’s openness about her diagnosis helped open up a meaningful conversation, letting those affected by cancer know they’re not alone.
