These are real-life heroes.

CLEVELAND — New York is getting some help from 25 Cleveland Clinic caregivers.

These heroes boarded a plane at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport on Friday morning to begin their journey helping New York-Presbyterian.

This happened after the Cleveland Clinic reached out to other health systems in some of the hardest-hit areas of the country in an effort to offer some assistance.

“Cleveland Clinic connected with hospitals in New York and Michigan that have requested help of available caregivers, including critical care nurses, nurse practitioners, board-certified critical care and emergency medicine physicians, physician assistants, and CT and X-ray technicians,” officials with the Cleveland Clinic said in a press release.

United Airlines donated their flights.
