AKRON -- Three people were arrested following the execution of a search warrant at a south Akron home Wednesday morning.
SWAT members forced entry into the home at the 100 block of Lake Street around 9 a.m. Officers found more than one kilo of crystal meth, marijuana and miscellaneous pills inside the house. They also found eight handguns, six rifles, body armor, various ammunition and more than $7,000 in cash.
The search resulted in the arrests of Brandon L. Sheridan, 32, Justin D. Martin, 31, and Starla M. Watkins, 28.
Sheridan and Martin are charged with possession of meth, aggravated trafficking, weapons under disability and receiving stolen property. Watkins is charged with possession of meth, aggravated trafficking and two counts of child endangering.
