AKRON, Ohio — New life could soon be coming to Club Energy in Akron as 3News has learned the sale of the well-known property is now pending.
After closing its doors in recent years, social media was abuzz over the weekend when reports surfaced that the Ellet nightclub was being purchased by a new owner with plans to reopen Club Energy as the “ultimate spot for bands to showcase their talents, from country to rock ‘n’ roll.”
“Get ready for an unforgettable experience and some rockin' good times ahead,” Jeremy Caudill announced Sunday in a Facebook post.
Caudill, who also owns the nearby Kim Tam Park at Melanie Springs, says plans for the reopened nightclub include serving up burgers from Bob's Hamburg.
According to the listing from RE/MAX, which was initially posted in August of 2023, the Club Energy property at 289 Darrow Road features 11,454 square feet of space.
“With a dance floor, bar areas, pool tables, kitchen and dining space it’s all set up to make your wildest dreams come true,” the listing stated. Just switch the lights on and dance your life away.”
