AKRON-- After very successful centers in Montrose and Stow, Akron General Health Systems opens a Health & Wellness Center in Green.
The Center offers the highly acclaimed Lifestyles exercise program as well as other membership programs.
The Green Health & Wellness Center complements other Akron General facilities on their Green Campus, including an Emergency Department, radiology, and lab services.
On July 21, the new Center will hold an Open House where visitors will get a chance to learn more about the benefits of a Health & Wellness Center as well as Akron General's new Sport's Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Sport's Performance programs open in Green.
The Open House has a lot to offer visitors, including free health screenings and raffle prizes like a 26-inch mountain bike and helmet.
The Center's four pools will be open for visitors along with their state-of-the-art exercise equipment and climbing wall.
Legend's Sports Pub & Grill will provide refreshments and WONE radio personality Christi Nichols will be greeting guests.
The Health & Wellness Center, located at 1940 Town Park Blvd. officially opens for business at 5:30 a.m. on July 9.
