AKRON, Ohio — The Springfield Township Police Department is asking for the public's help after a Speedway was robbed at knifepoint on Sunday morning.
Police officials say the armed robbery happened at around 1:30 a.m. at the Speedway on Canton Road when two male suspects allegedly entered the store and held the workers at knifepoint.
The suspects proceeded to take store merchandise and attempt to take money from the cash register.

On this date, around 1:30am, we had an armed robbery at the Speedway located at 1275 Canton Rd. Two male suspects entered the store and held the workers at knife point. The suspects took store merchandise and attempted to take money from the cash register. I understand the video does not show a clear picture of the suspects identities, however, we are hoping someone may recognize the clothing that was worn or may have inside information.
