The Ohio State Highway Patrol is searching for the suspect in crash that left a cyclist seriously injured Monday.
Officials say 75-year-old William Bakker was riding his red bike on State Route 307 when he was side-swiped by a white Dodge Dakota. The impact caused Mr. Bakker to overturn and sustains serious injuries.
The driver of the Dakota did not stop. He is described as a middle aged man with a mustache and smoking a cigarette.
The accident occurred around 6 p.m. Officials are unsure if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
