Dog rescued from blaze on Cleveland's east side

No residents were home at the time of the fire.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Fire is investigating a blaze that occurred on the city's east side on Wednesday. 

Officials responded to a home near the intersection of East 145th Street and St. Clair Avenue for a fire on the second floor. After investigation, officials fire was reportedly caused by an electrical incident and deemed an accident.

While no residents were home at the time of the blaze, firefighter did rescue a dog from inside the burning home.
