CLEVELAND — April 10 Update:

The body of a man found in the water near Cleveland's Voinovich Bicentennial Park has been identified.

According to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner, the body has been confirmed to be 25-year-old Abdul Arfath Mohammed.

Mohammed, a former Cleveland State University student, had been reported missing since March 5.

Cleveland first responders recovered a body from the waters of Lake Erie downtown Monday afternoon, the city's police department confirms.

According to officials, the body was discovered near Voinovich Bicentennial Park, which is just across the water from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Police and fire marine units were dispatched to the scene and recovered the remains.

The individual's identity has not been released at this time, nor has it been determined how they may have died. The body was located as people were gathering in the area for the total solar eclipse.
