CLEVELAND — Authorities confirm a man was badly injured after being struck on Interstate 71 in Cleveland on Friday.
Police say the incident occurred in the northbound lanes near West 25th Street. The victim was loading a vehicle onto a flatbed car hauler trailer when a car hit the car the man was loading, which then struck the man.
The suspect vehicle fled the scene and is currently being sought in the alleged hit-and-run.
The 53-year-old victim was taken by ambulance from the scene. EMS officials say he is currently in critical condition at a local hospital.
