Officials say that the girl was reported missing to the Perry Township Police Department on April 20 after she was seen leaving a friend's home.

An investigation between the Perry Township Police Department and the U.S. Marshals led law enforcement officials to the 3000 block of West 60th Street, where she was found.

Following the recovery, Cleveland police arrested a 20-year-old man. The man is currently being investigated, and potential charges are pending.

"The ability to respond and recover these children quickly can make all the difference in bringing them home safely. We are very proud of the work of our team and our police partners investigating this case," said U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott.
