Cleveland Public Power reports power restored after outages in Old Brooklyn

Residents found themselves without power on Saturday evening.

CLEVELAND — Residents in Cleveland's Old Brooklyn neighboorhood found themselves without power in on Saturday evening.

The good news came just after 11:00 p.m., when Cleveland Public Power (CPP) tweeted that power had been restored for all of those affected. CPP indicated earlier in the evening that primary wires were the reason for the outage.

Crews were on the scene for several hours working to fix the problem.

At 10:45 p.m. on Saturday evening, CPP provided the following update on social media: "Power restored in the area of Fenwick to Dennison, from W. 41st. to W. 63rd. Crews working to restore the remaining customers."

At 10:00 p.m., CPP tweeted the following, "crews are working on repairing the problem. They are working as quickly as possible. We will update as soon as we know more."
