"The memorial honors our Fallen Brother Firefighters, the bravest of the brace, who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the performance of their duties," the Firefighters Shamrock Club said in a media release. "Those Cleveland Firefighters who have died in the line of duty since 1863 with the first being Paul N. Aukens on February 25, 1869 and the last, Firefighter Johnny Tetrick who passed away November 19, 2022."

Tetrick died from injuries he sustained from a hit-and-run while working the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

Tetrick's daughters, Falon, Regan and Eden, will present the wreath at Sunday's ceremony.

Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb, Council President Blaine Griffin, Safety Director Wayne Drummond, Fire Chief Anthony Luke, Association of Cleveland Firefighters Local 93 President Francis Lally, and Fire Chaplain and pastor of Mary Queen of Peace Reverend Doug Brown are among the list of notable invitees, the Firefighters Shamrock Club said.
