CLEVELAND -- Crews battled a fire at Lolita restaurant in Tremont on Sunday afternoon.

Cleveland Fire Department Spokesman Larry Gray says the cause of the fire is unclear at this point, but investigators think the blaze started in an oven area in the kitchen and moved to the second floor.

The restaurant is owned by Michael Symon. According to a Facebook post from Symon, all staff members were able to safely exit the building. He said the damage "appears to be pretty significant."

Gray says the most significant damage is on the second floor, where signs indicate Symon's corporate offices are located.

The blaze began around 1:45 p.m. Firefighters had it extinguished within two hours

One firefighter was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for a minor injury, according to authorities.
