Angela Boehm Casting shared details on their Facebook page Monday, saying casting calls will start posting “around the end of April – early May.”

The casting agency said those who are interested “can be informed ASAP of any background that we are looking to cast as well as instructions on how to submit for the project” by registering for their e-mail distribution list HERE.

The Greater Cleveland Film Commission, meanwhile, says resumes for crew on the “Genesis” project are now being accepted. You can make your submission by e-mailing resumes to genesisproductionohio@gmail.com. Again, this is for crew only.

While details surrounding the “Genesis” project have not been released, the Ohio Department of Development announced earlier this year that the film has been awarded with a tax credit worth $11,091,686.70.

In addition to Cleveland, it’s also noted that “Genesis” is also slated to film in Cincinnati.

While speculation online indicates this could be the new Superman Legacy movie directed by James Gunn, those details have not been confirmed.

3News has asked the Greater Cleveland Film Commission if they could confirm the rumors, but the organization's president, Bill Garvey, told 3News he can't disclose specifics surrounding the "Genesis" project.

Last year, meanwhile, Garvey also told 3News that "major movies" are bringing their productions to Cleveland.

“People are going to be happy,” Garvey told 3News back on Nov. 9. “Some iconic, major movies are coming.”

In case you were wondering, Superman Legacy is currently slated for release on July 11, 2025.

Cleveland previously hosted multiple superhero productions, including The Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
