On Wednesday, the Hofbrauhaus located in downtown Cleveland kicked off its annual Oktoberfest festivities. Guests were invited to show up for a Keg Tapping event dressed in their "best Bavarian dirndles and lederhosen."

As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, those looking to dine at Hofbrauhaus Cleveland must make reservations beforehand. Additionally, group sizes have been limited to 10 people per party, per day, with guests asked not to congregate in aisle ways and no more seating at the restaurants' bar.

A full list of guidelines, as well of hours of operation, can be found on the front page of the restaurant's website, hofbrauhauscleveland.com.

Earlier this month, the 2020 Cleveland Oktoberfest, which was scheduled to take place at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds from Sept. 4-7, announced that it had been canceled due to concerns regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). It was scheduled to be the 16th Oktoberfest festival to take place in Cleveland since arriving in 2005.
