CLEVELAND — 3News has learned that 10-year-old Jo'el Hardy, who was reported missing early Monday morning in Cleveland, has been found safe after police say he was hiding at his grandmother's home.

The Cleveland Police Department had asked for the public's help in finding Jo'el after he left home on foot in the 1100 block of East 169th Street late Sunday evening.

Cleveland police say preliminary information indicates the child left his home after a disagreement with his mother at approximately 10:10 p.m. Sunday.

"Family members initially searched for him and called police a short time after," according to the Cleveland Police Department.

K-9 and Metroparks police had been assisting with the search.

No additional details were immediately available.
