CLEVELAND -- Family, friends and loved ones will gather Friday morning to say their goodbyes to 9-year-old Saniyah Nicholson who was killed in a Cleveland shooting last week.
Calling hours take place from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Gaines Funeral Home in Maple Heights, which is Saniyah’s hometown.
The funeral service begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Cleveland’s Second Ebeneezer Baptist Church.
Saniyah was in her mother's car last Wednesday evening at Lee Road and Cloverside Ave. when a group of teens apparently exchanged gunfire with each other. She was struck in the crossfire. Six suspects -- including three juveniles -- have been arrested in the case.
