Video: Cleveland firefighter arrested 3 times in 24 hours

All incidents happened at Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police arrested Cleveland firefighter William Graham three times in just 24 hours this week.

All arrests happened at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and were captured on body cameras.

The first happened Monday, after Jet Blue agents determined Graham was too drunk to fly.

Though they re-booked him on a flight for the next morning, free of charge, the situation escalated.

“I’m a battalion chief in the City of Cleveland,” Graham tells an officer, who warns, he can arrest him.

Eventually he does.

“What’s the charge?” Graham asks.

“Disorderly conduct, intoxicated,” the officer says.

The next day, it was a similar scene, after the airline claimed Graham failed to follow safety instructions on the plane and then caused “a disturbance.”

It led to a second arrest, only this time, Graham was taken to a hospital complaining of chest pains.

A few hours later, he was back at Hopkins.

“You’re supposed to be in a hospital right now. We allowed you to not to go to jail because you were going to the hospital,” the officer says, as Graham is arrested again.

The next day he faced a judge and entered a no-contest plea.

A 30-year veteran firefighter, William Graham has been placed on restricted duty.

Jet Blue said his ticket has been refunded.
