A child at the center of a AMBER Alert on Saturday has been found safe in South Carolina.
Authorities say the child and her non-custodial mother were found in Colleton County, South Carolina. The child was unharmed and the mother was taken into custody. Barnes is being held at the Colleton County Detention Center.
Police in Cleveland Heights issued the alert when the 6-month-old girl was allegedly abducted her "mentally unstable" mother Saturday morning.
Authorities say 26-year-old Alexis Barnes was on a supervised visit with her biological daughter Emery Seals when she walked away with her.
Police say the incident remains under investigation.
