HUNTING VALLEY, Ohio -- Police have arrested a Euclid man who allegedly broke into schools in east side suburbs.
According to a news release, police arrested 38-year-old Jon Charles Titter around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say they received tips after releasing surveillance images of a suspect who broke into schools in Gates Mills, Hunting Valley, and Shaker Heights. The suspect was entering schools during the night hours without authorization.
Court records indicate Titter is a registered sex offender, having been convicted in 2004 of "illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material." He served nearly four years in prison.
