Need a job? The United States Postal Service (USPS) is hiring.
It will hold a drive-thru style job fair at the Akron Five Points Post Office, located at 634 West Exchange Street in Akron on Sunday, June 27 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The USPS is looking to hire more than 100 individuals. Open positions include:
- City carrier assistants
- Rural carrier associates
- Postal support employees
- Mailhandler assistants
- Tractor-trailer operators
The positions listed above perform mail handling, mail processing, driving, mail delivery or a combination of those duties. Starting salary is between $16.87 and $23.74 per hour. A Class (A) commercial drivers license (CDL) is required for tractor trailer operator positions.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and pass a background investigation and medical assessment.
HR specialists from the USPS will be onsite Sunday to answer questions and share details about the open positions.
