Concord: 10 injured in two-vehicle crash

Ten people were injured in a multi-car crash that took place in Concord early Tuesday morning.

CONCORD, Ohio — Ten people were injured in a multi-car crash that took place in Concord in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

According to Concord Fire Chief Matt Sabo, his department responded to the report of a two-vehicle crash at 2:18 a.m. The crash involved a Honda CRV and a multi-passenger van, with a total of 10 people injured in the accident.

Per Sabo, five people suffered minor injuries, while at least one person involved suffered serious injuries. No fatalities have been reported at this time. All of the victims were taken to Tri Point Hospital for treatment.

The Concord Fire Department received aid from the Chardon, Leroy, Mentor, Painesville City and Township fire departments while handling the crash. The Lake County Sherrif's Office is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
