The Lake County Health District has confirmed 12 cases of Legionnaires' disease in Lake County this year.

The Lake County Health District has confirmed 12 cases of Legionnaires' disease in Lake County this year.

The district previously said there were 11 reported cases. Those cases include one death.

On Thursday, the district issued details regarding the outbreak, all of which have occurred between July 1 and Oct. 31.

The bacteria that causes Legionnaires Disease was discovered in the cooling towers at Consolidated Precision Products on Lakeland Boulevard in Eastlake. The company cleaned and decontaminated its location and has since tested negative.
